The Goal of the Institution

The most important factor for development is our attitude towards work and commitment to our goal of providing quality education. The despondency that we are backward and neglected seems to have got so deeply ingrained in our collective conscience that we stopped all search for finding our own weakness. Higher education can play a pivotal role in removing this kind of social ailment. As such, Samastipur College, being the sole institution of higher education in this socio-economically backward rural area, has been endeavoring for academic upliftment of people of the locality and this goal and mission of the college is reflected in various spheres of life.

Activities & Objectives of the Institution

To achieve the goal and objectives, the college has undertaken the programmes in three dimensions such as Teaching, Research and Extension activities. In teaching UG and PG courses and Research projects on various thrust areas in humanities, social science and research-oriented activities for dissemination of research-based knowledge among students residing in a rural area are being undertaken.
