Years of Legacy
Established by the provision of 15 acres of land and the collective financial help of the great visionary villagers of Samastipur Subdivision, especially Late Thakur Prasad Sharma, Ram Charitra Singh, Sri Balram Singh, and others. The college's vision was further strengthened by the donation from G.D. Birla through the Ex Governor of MP, Sri Satyanarayan Sinha.
Affiliated to Patna University in 1949 for Intermediate, later to Bihar University in 1953, and finally to L.N. Mithila University from 1972 for Intermediate, Bachelor, and Master courses. The College became a Constituent Unit of L.N. Mithila University in 1976 and is recognized by UGC under section 2(f) & 12(B) since November 1976.
