Department of Botany

The Department of Botany is one of the oldest faculties of the college. The department is housed on the first floor of “Biology Block”. The under graduate course in biology was started in 1972 and the experience gained through successful running of this course culminated into the start of Post graduate course in ......The department also facilitates researches and has well equipped laboratories along with a departmental library.

Infrastructural Support

The Department has well equipped laboratories and its own liabrary with sufficient number of books and journals . It has Separate Lecture Halls and class rooms for M.Sc. and B.Sc. Students.

• The Department offers the Vocational Core Subject in B.Sc Biotechnology Three main Course.
• Offers the complementary subject to the B.Sc. Biochemistry course
• It follows the syllabus and course pattern prescribed by the University of LNMU.
